Is Senseo discontinued?
In November 2011 Sara Lee announced that they would discontinue selling the Senseo product line in North America. Senseo pods can still be used with compatible drip-coffee-makers, made by Hamilton Beach.

The short answer is that pods will not work in K-Cup machines and vice versa (K-Cups will not work in pod brewers). They are not interchangeable unless you have an adapter or were smart enought to buy a coffee maker that brews both right out of the box.

- Fill the tank with white wine vinegar.
- Leave the vinegar for about 5 minutes in the tank to descale it.
- Switch on your coffee maker.

Follow these steps to remove and clean the pod holder:
- Switch off the SENSEO® coffee machine.
- Pull the lever up as far as it goes and wait 24 hours before you open the lid again.
- Remove the pod holder.
- Clean the sieve in the center of the pod holder with a brush or place it in the dishwasher.
Why is my Senseo not working?
